Is this the support I need?
Parents I work with often say things like:

"I’m worried about my child.
I worry about their learning and how hard it seems for them to keep up in class.
I worry about their friendships and sociability. Are they lonely at school? Sometimes, I feel guilty about my role as a parent and worry that I make things worse.
I worry about their mental health and wellbeing. I feel school is having a detrimental impact on their happiness. It’s affecting our relationship.
Nothing I’ve tried seems to be helpful. The situation feels stuck."
I work in a non-judgemental way with parents to provide them a space to speak, reflect and process difficult situations. I believe everyone should be able to feel understood and supported when they are finding things hard.

How We Can Work Together

Consultation

Therapeutic Sessions

A focused psychological meeting centred on listening, reflecting, and asking key questions. I will share initial ideas about the psychology at play and offer potential next steps. Often, achieving a shared understanding is enough to feel re-energised and find the situation more manageable.
An offer of regular, collaborative therapeutic sessions for you and/or your child. We will jointly decide the focus, frequency, and approaches to help you move forward.
Psychological Assessment
A focused investigation into your child's thinking, learning skills, wellbeing, or mental health. This can include a brief report to share with their school or college/university to advocate for the support they need.
